Here it finally might happen. Hunting on Sunday's in Nova Scotia!!

Turns out you don't have to be a resident of NS to fill out this very short survey. I just used the first three letters (digit) of buddies postal code to complete the survey.

And there is no IP block on the survey. So you can enter it multiple times. Untill it's locked. Lol

Never understood no hunting on Sunday. When I first heard of it I thought they trying to pull a joke on me. Alberta I think is split south no hunting North you can hunt. Hope it's game on for you guys soon.

After living through a No Hunting on Sunday'sand a few years back they changed to allow sunday hunting in our areas. I have to say I much prefer the no hunting on Sunday's. Don't get me wrong, I love to spend as much time in the outdoors hunting as possible, but having seen what it has done in our area I wish it never changed.

We used to have a break for ourselves on sunday. Now I'm out pretty much every chance I get all month long. The animals don't get a break from being persued, they are certainly a lot more skittish and harder to find. Many land owners enjoyed a day off from being asked for permission to hunt on their land. I do belive it has also decreased the populations as a lot of people that wouldn't get out other than on the weekend, it pretty much doubles their chances of success.

I'm sure some people will disagree with my outlook, but that's how I honestly feel.

I'm glad that we finally got Sunday hunting. It got held back considerably by our very own Wildlife Federation when they held a vote years ago and presumed to speak for all hunters. This noble band ofpredominately rural people and pensioneers voted down the idea with about 52 0/0 of the vote. That set us back about 10 years or more.

It's no secret that some of those who can hunt any day of the week don't
mind keeping potential "weekend hunters" as "Saturday hunters".

I think we missed a great argument by not pushing the school kid angle. Even people that couldn't care less about their town and city brethren aren't likely to say that youngsters should miss school to go hunting or that they shouldn't go. At least they won't say it out loud.

About time someone used "think of the children" for good.
