Here, Kitty , Kitty!!

Great Story Nice Score
At a BCWF convention a few years ago a couple from Bella Coola donated some cougar schnitzel gotta say best dam Kitty I ever ate.
I have seen some UTUBE vidieo on the foxpro bringing In coyotes so this year I tried downloading a few calls on a cheapo MP3 player with portable speakers almost forgot I brought it when my Brother inlaw had a wolf come within 15 feet of him while in a blind didn't shoot didn't know if you needed a tag.I went back to the spot with my homemade contraption and started up the screaming rabbit no wolf showed up but about 20 min later a Bobcat came right up and sat in front of the speaker ---- No Tag-- but we will be doing this again.

Great story, congrats to the shooter! Those cats move like shadows, reckon it must've somewhat overcome it's fear living in such close proximity of humans so as to expose itself as it did? Admittedly, I've no knowledge on Cougar behaviour but surprisingly (to me) it chose not to detour and hug cover as it proceeded to investigate.

Out of curiosity, what is the aprox Cougar population in BC (and I meant the four-legged ones :))?

Awesome job!!!! not too many people have called and killed a cougar. Even in the states its very rare to call and kill a lion. Thats amazing, some of the best callers in the world havnt done what you've done.

congrats and look forward to more pics...was it a male or female???

"Hi, my name is Gatehouse. When I am bored, I like to go call in a cougar and whack it. Oh yeah, and I do this with a broken knee as well. No big deal..."

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?

Cudos to Clarke and Steve. Nicely done guys, that is the best story I've heard in a while.

Great story Clark! Thanks for sharing it with us. I lightened up your photo so we could see it better.
