Heritage rancher parts?

Have a similar issue. I've got the heritage rancher but it shipped without the strap screw in front of the trigger guard. Got stonewalled by Heritage too

My little rancher has a broken hammer spring after less than 100 rds fired. I bought it over a year ago and don't have reciept, so not looking for warranty, just for a replacement spring. No luck. Can't even get through to heritage, the place I bought it told me to contact heritage or find a parts importer.
Only parts importer I can find sells the whole lower assembly for almost $60 usd plus shipping. I just need the spring that's worth about 80 cents.

Getting pretty annoyed. Has anyone else gone through this ordeal, or found a solution?

##### Armoury has these parts in stock.

I’ve since heard that Gravel Agency is the importer and may also be doing repairs and offer parts. I haven’t tried contacting them yet. They do handle parts and repairs for a lot of FA Mfgs

Yeah, I actually had it repaired under warranty at Gravel. They were pretty good about it, the backstrap had a casting "lump" under the spring so it wasn't sitting flat. It got filed flatter and new spring installed.

Did you send the rancher in to Gravel by courier/post office or are you local to them?
They're offering to send me a new spring or to send it in. I've looked at the spring, not convinced I can squeeze it back in without breaking the new one. not enough side to side play in it that I think I can get it in without breaking the new spring.

Just concerned about hassles from couriers or post office to ship a FA, and cost it is to ship the whole thing in from GTA

don't bother getting a spring, throw the gun away, it is a piece of junk. I broke my first spring under 300 rounds, second spring broke under 200 rounds. I have a 3rd spring which I did not put on as it too will break. Heritage = Junk!!!!

It's shorter than that one but it will work if you cut it down to size

Now thats a proper fix from an engineering perspective. Very nice, the leaf spring is inherently too short on these things with the carbine backstrap, puts too much of a load on the fulcrum.
