Herters Brass

I have some, but it's quite old. The stuff I have is decent brass, equal to any of the modern common brands. If you're referring to the new Herters, cabelas/bass pro bought them out I believe. Would need to find out who actually makes it now. - dan

Thankyou. I pulled some bullets dumped powder and sized and decapped
primers. I used CCI 250 primers and I felt them seat very nicely. A nice fit
I think. I bought 4 boxes of 06 all the same lot so I hope they are all consistent.
I weighed the powder and they were all loaded to very close weight.
The powder looked to be a very fine ball or flake powder. Not StaBall though.

ummm no. a lot of it was made in Yugoslavia, as were their J series actions

Just what I was going by. The box of Herters .223 I have has a L.C- Lake City headstamp, and swaging the pockets reloads fine.
