Alright I need some encouragement. I have a few 10. 5s I like them for my purpose. I was thinking the mk114 but i realy want the mk111 bc it's just so rewarding to know us canuks can have without expensive tax stamps. I'm looking for opinions. Am I sacrificing performance and accuracy if I pick up the 11inch?

I have 10.7. It is very accurate. 1" at 50m with cheap 55gr 223.
Barrel length has nothing to do with accuracy. You are losing speed and past 100m wind starts getting in the way. Considering it's a range toy, all the velocity/lethality loss is moot.

Unless you're planning to shoot your AR out past 400 yards, the 11.85" barrel on the Mk111 will be plenty accurate.
