Gatehouse, maybe it's just me... but If my daughter came home with a guy 16 years older than her .. I'd kill him!

Unfortunately when I met my wife she was 15 and I was 20. Needless to say this did not go over too well with her parents, and at the time I just couldn't understand why. Now that I have my own daughter and at 9 she's already talking about boys, I think I would probably of whacked me if I was my wifes father back then. Just like I might think of doing if the older boys come sniffing around.
Oh and she has never called me "dad", not then and not now. I may have told her "who's your daddy" once or twice though.

Seriously, lighten up. There was nothing innapropriate posted here. A bunch of guys poke fun at themselves and you (and others) pull this lone ranger crap and say it's because of us that we have few female members.
Maybe this site (and shooting in general) would come off as being more exciting to the fairer ### if people didn't take themselves so seriously (to put it lightly)
BTW if you have seen any pics that 44fordy, Gatehouse or myself have posted of our wives/GF you would know that we're anything but "lonely old guys" as someone else put it.
