I tossed a suggestion out to a friend today that we should head west for spring turkey. I've wanted to do it for awhile now but I'm still not too sure where to start. Can anyone who hunts there suggest a contact person or hunting shop or suggest a land owner I might talk to? Or maybe there is some good public land around there that holds birds. Thanks!

Not sure. I thought they were around Fernie in the flatter areas. I was told you can hunt them with an over the counter tag and that caught my attention. If I had to go as far as Creston I'd be ok with that, provided there would be a good area to set up.
No need for tag. Turkey is considered game bird and is covered by small game licence.
