wow this is a cool place.
I use 12ga and .22 rifles for predator control (i have chickens and over the last few years have lost alot of them) so i consider them tools, i treat them with more respect than my hammer and saws but they are still tools.
Now pellet guns are a different story i use them for rodent control but i do love to plink, and tinker with them in general, it is my dream to have a pellet gun that i can humanly (quick kill) dispatch something as large as a raccoon and mabey even foxes when they are heading for my chicken coop.
(just to be clear this doesnt mean i dont treat pellet guns with respect, it just means that i enjoy using them)
the only reason i would like a pellet gun capable of that---my poor neighbors--- it seems the only time i get the predators around here is in the middle of the night, i do live in the country but i still have neighbors, they are awsome and very understanding but i feel bad every time i wake them up.
thanks for having me
happy gunning!!!
