I've been a long time lurker, but since I just passed both the non-restricted and restricted tests I decided to start posting.
I submitted all my paper work and I'm following the guide posted in the "Newbie FAQ" section to hopefully expedite the process. I can't wait to get my license!
I currently live in Toronto, but not by choice. lol I've been fishing for a long time. I mostly enjoy float fishing for steelhead and fly fishing for resident trout. But I need something to do between trout season. I've fired a few rifles before and it really got me "hooked" on target shooting and have been wanting to get my license for a while now. I initially wanted to get into hunting as well (as my username suggests), but can't for now.
I'd really like to try Cowboy Action Shooting out once I get my license. It looks like an absolute blast. Also, I'd like to start collecting military surplus firearms, since I'm a big history buff.
Hopefully I'll meet a bunch of you guys and gals in the future.
