Yes, the whole 12.x scheme/regulation/law is stupid, but... Other than their novelty most 12.6 guns are pretty useless.
My 4" S&W mod. 15 is still what you might consider a "useful" handgun, but... The .32 and .25 auto pistols and even the little .22's... they suck as "shooters"

Yeah Yeah Yeah... plenty of guys can shoot nickle sized groups at 15 yards with their .32 Walther PP, but I think that's only on the intertoobs.

Top G19 ,sweet shooting pistol, a keeper for sure

2nd row S&W 3914 with Hogues single stack, compact 9mm, Would be my first choice for carry S&W 6946 S/S DAO pistol, I always loved the double stack feel of these models.
The D/A trigger is a short, smooth and consistent pull. Both both are extremely reliable and accurate.

3rd S&W M38 Bodyguard. I've had a dozen J frames in all configurations, Of all, 2 were the most accurate, both M38's I regretfully sold one. I won't make the same mistake with this one! Next S&W M66-1 You would have to make an effort to shoot off target with this one. it is a laser beam. One reason is the smoothness of the trigger, it is amazing for a bone stock gun. It is my experience that the smoothest triggers belong to the stainless K frames. Thanks

I think that they are the best looking snubbies as long as they don't have oversized grips as that defeats their raison d'etre.

The gun that I can shoot the best was a 3 inch 686 , I think the old eyes can see the short sights better.
I shoot a 8 inch python, love it , but the short ones I do better with, mind you off a bag the 8 in colt puts
them in the same spot for me.
My everyday gun these days is a 4 " model 19
I use to have a few mini revolvers as well.
