Hi all !! I am new to this great site. I been checking out a lot of the threads and have already learned a lot. Hmmmm I wonder if I will get as many replies as you Stephy....lol....somehow I do not think so, I am far from being as cute as you. I shoot a Ruger KM77RFP MKII (Stainless synthetic) 308. and hoping to get my hands on an SKS soon.

LOL, wish I was 18 again.....I've been around 38 yrs and yet to meet an attractive woman into guns or hunting. Yes, the Ruger is for hunting, going deer hunting in two weeks, can't wait. Looking for the SKS when I am the dog doing a deer drive and need to pop off some quick shots. I was going to buy the Ruger mini 30, but from what I now hear, it seems to be no more accurate than the SKS, so I figure why spend $800 when I can buy the SKS for under $200, not to mention I think the SKS looks pretty kewl with some history to boot. My 308 shoots real well at the range, but as in other threads I have read the trigger is to heavy, but thanks to others here, I will fix that up for next hunting season.
