Hi all, just another newbie here. My PAL is in the mail so while I was cruisin the web looking for my first gun/price comparing I found Canadian Gun Nutz. This site looks like it will be real useful for picking brains on all kinds of questions I got!

Welcome from Birken! Still waiting for an available PAL/R PAL course in the area, might have to take it in Squamish because I can't find one in Whistler/ Pemberton area until Aug.

Not by a long shot. Pemberton was pretty much where the road ended, the Duffy lake road was seasonal at best. There was some very decent folks there, but also a lot of not so nice people.

Although they've got the best prices on blackpowder caps I've seen so far.... who knew?

PS - pemberton has by far one of the nicest ranges I've seen out west. Not even finished yet and I was drooling over it.

PPS - there's a moderator on here that lives in Pemberton. He also is heavily involved in the Pemberton shooting range/preservation society. He might be a good guy to talk to about finding a PAL/RPAL course up there.
