I had an 11.5" I had machined down to as lightweight as it could get, and had a MI SS rail system on it. Super lightweight, I sold it to a buddy who really wanted it and I regret doing so.

I have a 10.3 gov profile now and am trying to trade it for my old 11.5 back....

Mine's a 11.8" CSA VZ58 in 5.56. Lots of muzzle blast with the muzzle brake. Fun to shoot though and actually surprizingly accurate.

I had 1/9 in my 7.5" 223 Kitty Kat, Bullets when were I wanted them to go. Also had a 9mm 8" AR upper.

The shorty 556's can be a bit nasty without a large diameter muzzle device. I like my 7' and 10" 300 Blackouts though. Much less blast makes more fun.

I've got one of Questar's 11.5" gov.
It was a bit brutal until I "battlecomped" it and switched for a H2 buffer. Never had a problem with it mind you, it's just smoother now.
I'm thinking of switching for a DD 10.3" for the sole reason I want a MK18... no logical reason really, I just want one

I had a 10.5" Noveske with a Phantom 5C2 on the end. It did have a little more 'Pop', but nothing annoying.

Thanks very much, I am thinking of going back to classic round handguard look as well these guns are getting pretty blingy now funny how the KISS principle willl not leae you in a bad place when the batteries go dead or the gun gets dumped in a river.

I just built up my CQB 11.5" barrel using an S&J barrel and NEA 9" quadrail from Ryan at SFRC! Function testing was perfect yesterday in low light at my home range. And then I sighted in my ACOG TA31F Chevron for 25m (or 300ish meters).

My 8.5" barreled Vltor upper/lower build has a heavy profile 1 in 7 twist abd couldn't be happier with it. The eliminator from ATRS and H3 buffer makes it sing at the range without pissing off the others at the range.

11.5" barrel 13" Troy alpha rail. Noveske flaming pig. Love the rifle!!! The barrel is a heavy contour which makes the rifle a little heavy. But it was a budget build and I kept the costs very low mostly by making trades on the EE.

I know this one belongs in red rifle section but thought I'd chuck up here anyway. It's so loud it rattles your brain inside your skull. Lol. CSA vz58 .223 dlask brake and AR mag adapter. I like the adapter for the AR mag release and drop free mags.

Norinco 10.5 love it !!!! runs perfect.... for 1 yards to 100 yards i would not get anything longer...might add a Nickel bolt..
