Hey....the CZ452 Varmint shoots OK! **UPDATE~photos added page #3**

UPDATE~nice S. Ontario=more CZ time for this fella'! lol

So in the last week, I've had the CZ (and my Marlin 917) out shooting twice. Sunny, 21C weather in November will stir-up the desire you know. :) Anyhow first outing on the weekend was fun~kind of confirming what I'd learned on the first real outing that inspired this thread. When I switched from the CZ to the HMR, I wanted to work on zeroing the scope with the 17gr. Hornady it was shooting well. That's when the target shooting turned to a hunt~a fly landed on the paper to see what all the fuss was about. Zap!

Well, back to the CZ. Took the morning yesterday to really settle-in with this rifle...and get to know the Yo Dave-improved trigger. CCI Blazer and CCI MiniMag shot almost equally well, slight edge to the Blazer~which was great. The Waltz-HP process sure didn't make them any less accurate. Targets (as was the HMR one above) set @ a ranged 50 yards, I got down to business. Very long story short, on 4 occasions.... a flies landed on the target board and with the CZ...shooting Walt-modified Blazer~I got 3 of them. One took 2 shots to hit, but it moved after the first shot~the zero was still dead-on...I just pulled it! :) I don't consider myself to be that great a shooter...but it goes to show you what a CZ452 is capable of even with a chump like me behind it! :)
