The new 6.5mm Scirocco is available from Swift - 130gr .571 BC!

That should give the .260 and 6.5x55 even more legs!

what the...haha how did they get a BC that high

Id still like to see a 120-125 gr. Accubond first

6.5 Scirocco would be one to try though, if that BC is in fact realistic, it would pack 1500 ft-lbs out to 390 yards :D not bad at all...wonder when they will appear in Canada :?:

PS, it's pretty much invincible now with the 130 gr. Triple Shocks, but I'm a sucker for new bullets

They are inthe Russel's catalogue, but they are $57.00/box. I'll stick with 125 partitions and TSX's in mine. I just got some 120 gr TSX Boatails. I found out I don't have a Leupold hex key or I would use the new one tomorrow.

They are really not that new and its a 100 in a box which means that they are in the same price range as partitiond and TSX.

This is the second year they have been in Russell's cat.

It is listed as a New and now available product on Swift's web-site.

At any rate, I think that this is good news for the various .264's. Imagine that in a nice trim 6.5-06 AI; it would be a fine long range sheep/deer rifle.

Man, a 6.5 of some sort is getting harder to resist.

I"m loading for a 6.5/06 AI right now. I've tried 140 gr. Hornady Interlocs for fire forming, 125 Gr. Partitions which shot real well but had the noses smash off in the magazine, and the 120 gr. TSX. Settled with that for the deer load @ 3200fps.
