6.5 Scirocco would be one to try though, if that BC is in fact realistic, it would pack 1500 ft-lbs out to 390 yards

They are inthe Russel's catalogue, but they are $57.00/box. I'll stick with 125 partitions and TSX's in mine. I just got some 120 gr TSX Boatails. I found out I don't have a Leupold hex key or I would use the new one tomorrow.

Typicly, the 140's are the long range hunting bullets. These Sciroccos put them up a weight class with that high BC.
It is listed as a New and now available product on Swift's web-site.
At any rate, I think that this is good news for the various .264's. Imagine that in a nice trim 6.5-06 AI; it would be a fine long range sheep/deer rifle.
Man, a 6.5 of some sort is getting harder to resist.

I"m loading for a 6.5/06 AI right now. I've tried 140 gr. Hornady Interlocs for fire forming, 125 Gr. Partitions which shot real well but had the noses smash off in the magazine, and the 120 gr. TSX. Settled with that for the deer load @ 3200fps. :mrgreen:
