Hey there all,

My name is Richard, and obviously from my topic, I am located in Kamloops.

I am taking my PAL tomorrow and already scoping (pun intended) for my first gun on the forum here (.22 hunting rifle)

I was shown the Gunnutz site by Dixda who has taken me out a few times with his arsenal to do some Plinking at a local outdoor range, but I would like to get into a little Grouse (or other bird) hunting with a .22 as well eventually.

I am partial to the Semi Auto's so far so that is what I have been looking at/for, maybe a .22 Pistol in the future, but time will tell.

Welcome aboard!
I just added a semi to the locker... the Remington 597.
Reviews are mixed on this model (just check out the rimfire forum).
The handguns are fun too, and in my opinion, the best way to get introduced to this sport (not to mention a cheap way to practice).

Welcome , a .22 for grouse will be perfect . WARNING this hobby can be addictive , you may need deep pockets Lots of good advice here.
