Hey guys!!! I just recently got my first gun, had my safety courses done awhile but never really done nothing with it... I was lead this way by my brother who is an avid hunter and wanted me to get into it with him, and also join this site as he told me it was an awesome place to buy and sell guns... Can't wait to get my first kills!!! Thanks guys!!

I've been killing for a long time and let me tell you, it never gets easy. Long shots or close, shot placement is always key as i'm sure you've been told this but never forget it. Shooting a moose/deer/bear in the guts is a very bad feeling. Not only because it takes a long time to track them but no one feels good making an animal suffer. If you do, you're psychopathic and shouldn't be hunting. :) I'm glad you joined CGN though. It's always good to have new members and also new hunters. We need as many as we can get. I'm sure you've registered for the EE but you should get into the Off Topics section as well as the Youth Wing if you're under 30. Both groups are good for a laugh and have good people who participate in them. Best of luck on your hunting career and sorry for the long winded post. I get a little enthusiastic when we get new hunters :D Like i said, we need as many as we can get.
