Hi,

My name is Brent. I am from Mission BC. gonna put my Rpal in the mailbox tomorrow and hope for the best. I was trained by an extraordinary instructor in Mission. High Caliber Training. Class of 5 for 2 days 75% hands on training. We had a woman in our class who didn't know the difference between a shot gun or a rifle and could not figure out how to unload a shot gun. She walked out of that class with confidence and a keen sense of firearms safety as we all did. Contact me if you would like to connect with Dave. Hello and welcome. Glad to hear you had such a positive experience in your class. They aren't always that way. For what it's worth, as ineffective and annoying as many of Canada's firearms laws are, the Canadian requirements for licensing are far better organized and presented than those in the US. In the US, I once had to take a one-evening class to qualify for a carry permit. I had been living with and legally carrying guns for almost thirty years at that point, and the class was required because I had just moved to this city. It was done by a local detective showing a film about firearms safety and answering (poorly, I thought) questions. He finished up by telling everyone that if a gun was in the house and wasn't wanted, to bring it to him, and he'd take care of it for them. When you get a good experience like yours was, treasure it.
