My understanding was that they were proprietary forged steel frames that would take Para mags.

It's in the current catalog, in 5" and 3" G.I. versions. There used to be a Loaded, three or four years ago. The guns are made entirely in Brazil, on forged frames and slides. The full-size comes with one Mec-Gar 13-round mag, and is compatible with Para mags. Robbie's have S&A "Para" magwells on them, so that appears to be compatible, as well.

Last I heard they still make it but do not include in the catalog. You can still buy it.
