My name is Gerry, and I live near Shellbrook Saskatchewan. I am retired from a mining career. I have hunted all my life and use a longbow, crossbow, primitive weapons and of course rifles. I have had the priveledge of hunting Africa twice and 8 years in Central Asia. I lived in the Yukon,NWT,Saskatchewan,Ontario and Quebec. I have reloaded for rifles for over 55 years and I tie my own flies and have for 60 years. Fly fishing is another passion I must confess to. I love reading and learning about the gun laws and guns in general on this site.

Welcome aboard Gerry! This is indeed a great site to learn stuff on. Shellbrook is a quaint town... stop at the Dairy Queen by the Co-Op sometimes on my way south to Saskatoon. How'd your 2020 season go? I tagged a nice Bull Moose up in 73 and a decent Whitetail Buck in 55.
