Hello one and all. I certainly like this site. It has taken till now to know what posting a " thread " is. I am a complete computer illiterate and it shows. But slowly I'm wending my way through this. I'm a retired copper. Spent time in the Canadian Forces Military Police, the ( then ) Metropolitan Toronto Police, Lindsay Police ( the name was changed at midnight of my retirement date to City of Kawartha Lakes - to confuse me so I wouldn't come back ) and the Ontario Provincial Police ( part time ). About 37 years. I like firearms , a lot, some say I'm obsessed and I need help. But a pox on these nay-sayers and ner-do-wells. I am a member of the Haliburton County Marksmen Club and a "fun" shooter. I was also an Artilleryman so I really like large caliber toys. Preferrably on wheels or tracks. I am frequently politically incorrect but have finally learned to control myself and have been described as a "dinosaur" or "neanderthal", mostly when I was working. I dislike intensely criminals but believe that every Canadian should have the right to be armed whenever and however they like. I should stop now 'cause old crusty beat cops tend to rant and rave a lot.
