Hi from central Alberta

Hey ya'll, if you havent guessed, my favorite movie is Escanaba In Da Moonlight, hence my name, if you aint seen it, see it! I love anything to do with guns. Hunted since I was 5 (at 5 pigeons in a barn loft with a pellet gun is like a African dangerous game safari:D) Like fishing. Just getting into the traditional bow and handgun scene. So... you know, if ya got a handgun, say a 357. single action, or a nagant revolver you wanna get rid of for cheap... :D tee hee. I'm also on the Alberta Outdoorsmen forum. I like my Tikka, Yildiz, Browning, and Bruno. Love basically any guns, military suplus, modern high tech tactical, antiques, "Guns of the West", anything, not big into black powder though. I also collect cartridges, smallest so far is an unidentified rim fire, bout 4mm wide, 1cm long. Similar to those used in the hideaway guns like in finger rings, and zippo lighters. Biggest,(this is my pride and joy) being an artillery shell, 1 ft, 11 inches tall, i think 4 inches across. I like shooting competitions, trick shooting, all that stuff. Hope to learn lots on this here forum, and make some friends. :sniper:
 
Where in Central Alberta are you at? I have seen you on AO. I usually live near Rocky Mountain House (which has one of the finest gun ranges around) but am presently down under in South Australia.
 
Thanks! I am in the Red Deer area, too far from the fine range of Rockey. In around brisbane are at all Duffy? If you have any time, you should go on the Great Barrier Reef snorklig cruise, in the town of 1770 Its just a 1 day outing, but it is SOOOO fun! Have fun, dont get roasted in the sun haha.

We are in South Australia, a long way from Brisbane. Last time we were here we went up the east coast to Bundaberg (where they make a great Auzie rum) and flew out to an island that is part of THE REEF! Did some snorkelling there.

A good number of shooters drive from RedDeer to use the Rocky range.

I've been to Escanaba........not far from my home town.
 
Red Deer is central to all that matters! HAHA ehntr, you sheen a sightin at all out escanaba ways? :D CTC?? I suck with accronyms just so ya'll know :D The problem is probably because I was standing too close to a muzzle brake on a 300 WM one day. :eek:
 
Oh, yes haha. Still working at crappy tire, though everyone at the gun counter is leaving, so only me and Hamish are left.:mad: So no one full time to be at the gun counter, since i'm not old enough yet to run it solo legally.:( Is there some sort of buy and sell area on this forum? Having a little trouble. Thanks :)
