Good day all,

Another newbie on the forum! I'm in my early 30's from Kingston. In the CF for 15 years and I lived in 3 different provinces. I had my fair share of little issues with the various provicial CFO's during my postings so I can relate with a few topics covered in some thread of the forum. I'm a collector, small game hunter and occasionnal shooter. I found some very interesting info on the site so far and I'm looking forward to get some more. Well that's pretty much it for now.

Keep the sport alive!!

Welcome to the site bellero. Looks like a nice collection you have there. You'll find lots of info here and we can probably pick up some gems from you as well.

Welcome aboard, see if the base has a Rod and Gun Club.
To the best of my knowlwedge, CFB Kingston doesn't have a Rod&Gun club or hunting&fishing club. The training area is very small and located within a residential area. It's too bad since I spotted so many fat deers on the base golf course!!

The ORA holds events at CFB Kingston; their range is from 300-600 yards, if I'm not mistaken. Still can't shoot the deer, though. :D

You are correct on both counts.

The ORA has practices and matches at the base. Dates will be posted on the ORA calendar in the spring, the local chap that runs it is excellent and a very nice range.
