I am not yet 18 and don't actually own any guns, but I go shooting occasionally with relatives and am interested in firearms and their politics (I am strongly against gun control). Once I am old enough I want to get my PAL and my own guns... hopefully the liberals will not have confiscated our guns by then

Welcome. I had my Minors License from when I was 15 until I got my PAL. If you have friends or relatives who have their PALs, I would highly recommend buying what you want right away and have the guns in their name. Once you turn 18 they can teach you how to do transfers, etc.
