Hi all, i just recently challenged and passed both the non and restricted firearms test! i was very nervous with not taking the coarse, i purchased the handbooks from Accuracy Plus, Peterborough and did some you-tubeing. 94% overall, im very excited. im expecting them back in the mail this week and will have the application sent off as soon as i get those back. In the future im looking to hunt deer, duck and wild turkey. for the time being im looking to join a pistol club in the area for some target shooting, alos looking at action shooting in the future too.

...i have this craving many of you may or may not have had before, i has something to do with the M1 Garand. once i get into the EE ill be creeping your adds...

Congrats! Two questions for you, how much was the restricted handbook, and who did the test ? Mark from Accuracy Plus ? The reason I'm asking is I'd like to get my restricted.

Hi i got the book from Accuracy plus it was $10 for restricted $10 for the non-restricted. yeah Mark did the test with me. the Women who works there gave me his number, he charges $40 to challenge the restricted test, $40 for the non. hes an awesome guy, very helpful and friendly, i just started shooting at the Peterborough pistol and revolver club, im in my probationary period but soon ill be able to fire center fire handguns!!! youtube had some vids on ACTS and PROVE for different actions of both restricted and non restricted firearms. it also has a video from the 1990's the the Feds put out demonstrating ACTS and PROVE it jokes to watch, but is helpful.
 
Hey coldcashandcoldhearts have you done the turkey course yet? and who at accuracy sold you the books for the courses?
 
I took Marks hunting course a few years back. Haven't seen him online in a while though. I hear he's pretty busy. Great bunch there at accuracy too. I have bought a lot from them in the past and all were excellent prices.

great bunch for sure, i'm joining the Peterborough pistol and revolver club Mark helps run, i see him every Wednesday during my probationary shoots. im taking the club safety coarse in two weeks!! center fire handguns here i come, i cant wait!!! :runaway:
 
X2 on Accuracy plus!!!! The woman is probably Jo-ann and she is a DCRA Champ,also really knows her stuff!! Jeff is a great guy too except I haven't bought anything there in a long while. ps I live in the Norwood/Trent river area and see beaucoup turkeys around here, welcome JITC
