I've just recently got my gear in order, and i'm looking to do some shooting in the next few days. I've got the licence, the att, the membership to the club, the firearm ( SW M&P .40 ) and the ammo and safety gear.
What i don't have is the registration certificate for the gun. I bought it at the dealer and eventually the paper will be sent (I do have the # and have written it on my att paper), but my newbie question is;

When i go to any clubs or ranges, how important is it to have the official registration certificate for my gun, in order to shoot it there?

Some ranges here in B.C. check, some don't. I wouldn't risk it.

I've never been asked by anyone for any of my paperwork.
That said... I've been told that if you have the sales receipt and the transfer authorization number, you're good to go.
