That's what I figure,I've already done my gun,ammo,accessories etc research.Got grandma's land figured out,awesome sandbank........with the foothills as a backdrop.can't wait.
yes saving up too..........might have to sell the kids xbox and wii.........LOL,when they're not looking.

if you sell the xbox and wii then they'l have no option but to come shooting with you.. and once they get hooked. you'll be spending WAAYYYYY more money on their toys aswell as yours. keep the xbox ! :p

I like the tikka.... I own one in 223 Left Hand and the magazines are awesome to use, I have 3 total and they make reloads super fast or if you want to swap ammo type.
 
Hey tankman I am new to the site aswell, I am finding it hard to find free places to shoot out of Calgary. So if your kinda close let me know if I could shoot with you somtime!!

Yes it is,I've got friends who've hunted for yrs just itchin' to get me out ! Plus we own land too,I'm thinking of having a mini range out there,plus there's all those gophers wanting to join in the fun........yeehaa.

As Pbuck states could an anxious 28 days, but it could also be longer. It took 34 days before my app showed up in the CFC's system. Do give them a call to follow it up. Just in case anything is missing they will ask you on the phone so you can immediately clarrify. If no problems or missing answers, its smooth sailing. Like the others said - save up!!! Welcome aboard Tman!
 
Thanks for the advice,saving like crazy,had a garage sale on Saturday and took what was left to the pawn shop...........so things are coming along nicely.
