As I want to join the exchange portion of the site, I realized that I started posting without a proper introduction. You folks already pointed me in the right direction a few times already!
I shot the C7 5.56mm service rifle part of my job. I'm relatively new to the civilian firearms: I just bought a Mossberg 500 12 guage and a Marlin 795 semi-auto .22lr last summer. That's a start.
Now, i'm eyeing either a Mosin or an SKS because I like the milsurps. Maybe I'll go milsurp for hunting, or maybe buying a lever-action 30-30 or something. I'm not a hunter at this point. Being a city dweller for a good part o my life, I never been introduced to hunting by family. I'm interested, but it's gonna be a slow start there. Target shooting is interesting to me and I already have a range membership.
So, I'm interested into what's for sale in the EE section of the forum, to see if I can find good deals to cut cost a little.
