Hi point

I have never owned a Hi-Point, I've heard way too many negative things about them. You certainly get what you pay for.

If anything, the retail price seems a little steep, especially after taxes. I'd wait until you find a deal somewhere if you want one.

However, if you like it for your own reasons and can't wait, buy it now. If it's not for you, sell it and cut your losses.

I have one in 40s&w and the carbine as well. Picked them up on sale and have been blasting thru ammo with them both.
No problems at all. They are ugly!!! But work flawlessly..
Paid 199 and 349 on Black Friday sale

Seems they both just keep on going. Accuarate and fun to shoot. Go for it.

They work but keep in mind they are only $159 down here and that is about what they are worth.

Is the Jhc worth 279 dollars ? don't know why I am fascinated with them, I think there a nice firearm

i remember the first time i saw one at the gun store.
i couldnt stop staring at it.
it was like a huge mole on someones face..... you know you shouldnt look at it but you just cant look away...... and you wanna poke it...... with a stick!

as open as i am to guns of different makes and models i just cant bring myself to buy much less shoot a Hi Power.
they are just sooooooo heavy and ugly..... and heavy.... and ugly!
i just have this reoccurring nightmare about putting one of those into the waitband of my pants and then they fall down to my ankles.
but that is just silly, cause i dont think you could even get one of those into your waitband.

I shot one a few years back

It went bang

That's about the best I can say about it lol

If you really want one, shop around a wait for a sale. Don't pay full retail for one.

Otherwise you're better off with Norinco over a dirty blow-back operated gun that you're not even supposed to disassemble.

It's a pot metal guns that looks like sh!t and shoots even worse. It works fine for its intended purpose (shooting a rival drug dealer in the head at point blank range and tossing it in the lake) but for all other tasks, there are much better options.

I thought Glock made the Hi Point.

You could buy one.....but I think you then are required to wear baggy pants and a flat brimmed hat sideways.

I'm not sure but I've also heard they will only fire if you hold them sideways.

I think a Hi Point pistol might be like a mo-ped. OK for some private fun, but you would not want to be seen with one.

lol x2 i guess

I got one when it was on sale
Works no problem, feed all I gave it. Shot pretty good I was surprised. Heavy, soaks up the recoil.

Like nailing a fat chick. You get a bang and projectile down range as expected. But nothing special or exciting or any good story for the boys.

I'm not a fan of them myself, but I watched a review on the Iraqveteran8888 Youtube channel. Eric & Barry really put the Highpoint through its paces...I mean way beyond anything I'd ever try....The bloody thing kept on running!

OK - I may have just got the freak of the bunch, but my Hi-Point 45 (that I bought on a lark) may have the best trigger I have ever had on any gun. I don't understand it because the guns are essentially dishwashers with a barrel in them, but the trigger is nuts. I don't understand it.

They do not shoot like sh!t. If you had one and it shot like sh!t then you are just a sh!tty shooter.

If you are competent shooter you should be able to achieve good accuracy.
