What's the story with them?

I don't think I've ever seen any topics on here, and I certainly havn't seen one on the range. I'm guessing that the appeal for a single action just isn't there anymore?

Anybody have one? It certainly is a nice looking handgun, and it's nice that it's all steel, it probably wouldn't be falling apart anytime soon.

Have one, shoots great. I replaced the grips with Canadian issue ones cause I do not like someone telling me where to put my fingers (thumbs) on a gun!

I have one... love it, shoots great. Just came in third place at the NSCC service pistol shoot with it. BTW... Ruag 124gr ammo works great in it, failing that I like winchester 147gr.

Browning Hi Power MK III

I have two, one in 9mm and one in .40 S&W.....

Both are "keepers"............... :D

The 9mm [top] was made in 1992 and I've had it for about 15 years.... The .40 S&W [bottom] was made in 1995 and I picked it up off the EE here about 4 years ago:

I've got one in .40. Great gun - reliable, accurate and well made. Hi-Powers are still made by FN in Belgium (though the final assembly is in Portugal) and the quality is top notch.

The only downside is the crappy trigger, which can be improved by removing the magazine safety.

Have a Mke 3, Mke 1 and an Inglis. Going to sell them all as I seldom shoot them. Removing the mag safety makes a bad trigger into a not so bad, but well short of a good trigger. All three are dead nuts accurate.

Take Care
