Shot this at 50 yards. The Browning ammo was the cheapest, the fastest and tied for the ebst group.

POI changes with virtually every brand and velocity.
Testing one 10/22 at 100 yards, the CCI MiniMags RN were about 2 inches.
The same ammo but HP's were to the left and a 5 shot group was over 6".
Personally I would be surprised if POI were the same even out of my match rifle using different brands of match ammo.
Changes in velocity are the biggest factors.

Maybe it's just me but I DON'T like hitting the centre of a target when I'm testing ANY ammo. It ruins the aiming point, especially on small targets. Think on it, if you've hit the dead centre with the first 3 shots of a 10 shot group, you're not likely to aim at the CENTRE on subsequent shots. You may only be out by 1/10" but thats +/- 1/10" X2 in any direction so your groups will likely be larger than if the centre is left alone. Just my opinion.

Rifle used was the cheap black plastic Norinco. EM332A. Uses a 10 shot mag that also fits the 322, so I got some extra mags.

I aim at the corner of the patch, and hope I don't hit the corner. It would spoil the sight picture.

I had no idea what would be considered a "good" group for that ammo and that rifle.

My son shoots small bore more seriously than I do. He shoots prone, off his elbows, with a sling and iron sights.

This is what a 50 meter target looks like. 10 shots, outdoors.
