hi viz sights for my old eyes

good day all:
my eyes are getting old and was wondering about hi viz sights for my sr9.
i'm sure i'm not the only one.
can some of you blind like me guys give me your opinions and brands that you use.

Most of the guys I shoot with (young and old) use the fiber optic front sights on their guns. One of the better shooter I know actually went as far as to say that they are the only ones he can see with his "old eyes".

I don't know for sure but I would assume they can be installed on your SR9.

I'm going through a real transition right now, I just had cataract surgery. The second eye is just coming around this week. Before the surgery, I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. This week, I put three in the black with a 2" model 10. I still have an issue focusing up close, but I can keep the sights aligned well enough.

I like fibre-optic, but I also like Glock's system. One thing to think about is the colour you go with. I have trouble with red, whether it's gun sights, or a car's instrument panel. Red lights really bother my eyes. I don't even like the red dot style scopes. If it's a light green I can look at it all day.
