HiCal vs G9/A

I've owned both the Texas and now the Hical adapter. There are some design differences. The Texas one rides the reciever farther to the rear. You either have to heavily modify or remove the last round hold open tab. The Hical one rides more forward and requires removal of the feed ramp. I've found that the Hical one feeds perfectly. The Texas one had ftf every 20 rounds or so. That said, with some more feed ramp work I could have got that better. Overall the placement in the magwell makes for better bullet loading geometry in the hical version. The only downside is there is no going back to an internal mag after a Hical adapter install. I'd recommend the Hical one over the two.
