hickok 45: Sig P220 10mm review

Love 10mm Auto, but hated scavenging for my brass afterwards and trying to discern it from the .40S&W brass :p (busy range where I shoot.)
Nice gun absolutely. Can't go wrong with a Sig.

On the list for sure. Would make a nice bush gun but with the price tag and looks I'm pretty sure I'd have a hard time carrying it through the rough stuff.

Nice catch, Dallasm.

It would make a great little woods gun for sure, jongun. Too bad the average guy who doesn't work in the bush, can't get a wilderness carry permit. You are one of the lucky ones.

I'd actually love to see a 6" version, kind of like the p220x6.

I wonder which one from the Coonan 357 mag or the Sig 220 10mm is more powerfull... JP.

As I understand it, the .357 is better at stopping bipeds since the round has a chance to deform and expand, whereas the 10mm is too powerful and passes through while staying intact. On something dense like a bear or moose, the 10mm round can penetrate and then expand. So to answer your question, I have to ask you...more powerful against what?
