Hickok45 shooting FAL

"...find the FN and M14 were both as accurate..." A real M14 will outshoot an FAL. It's the only thing that the M14 won during the U.S. Ordnance tests in the 50's. The M14 was selected because it was invented Stateside and for no other reason. Otherwise they are pretty much just a semi-auto rifle.
The one in the video is an Isreali version.
 
FN has the wow factor for the young guys who will never own a shooting version. I trained with the C1, had a pristine Aussie L1A1 for Service Rifle in the 80's and sold it circa '89, wish I had kept it through C-68 for the nostalgia if nothing else,...however as a range rifle I prefer the M-14, sorry FAL droolers.:p:p
 
I love watching Hickok's videos, the FN FAL is one beautiful Gun and I was lucky to be able to shoot the FN C1A1 when I was in the Reserves during the 80's...... loved it.
