Boo Hoo Hoo.Well the prices are sure to jump the more people you tell about them. Don't worry though, I'm sure we'll see the same powder on the EE in a month when Higginson is out of stock, marked up 50-100%
So you believe a well respected supplier should go out of business, because you want him to "store" your future purchases???????????

Years back, when I was moving families from coast to coast, on my way back home to Hfx, I would stop in to Hawksbury and see Andrew Higginson's dad ((Tom)). I'd pick up our powder and also whatever my friends wanted/needed at the time. All cardboard boxes then with a heavy poly bag inside them then.
Andrew's done a great job there since he's taken over the helm. Still order the odd bit of stuff from him... IF, he gets any of the stuff we're after back in stock.

Kevin g I could be wrong (as usual) but I believe Andrew is Tom’s nephew. I sure do miss the days of free shipping/hazmat on orders of 21 lbs. but I miss the bulk powders even more. Every now and then Tom would throw in a surprise. Try this powder out for me and let me know what you think.

Last order I made with Higginsons the powder came in jugs, not cardboard boxes anymore. Shipping isn't hard to calculate, just fill out their order quote form and send it to them and they will tell you the exact cost.
Going through the Higginson process may not be worth it for a couple of pounds of powder but when I order from them it's always a big shipment.

Powder prices are pretty much relative to what they were years ago, basically the same outfits offering a decent price are still near the top, everybody is charging more fir everything .

Could very well be his nephew..I assumed (I know..I know ) ..lol he was his faja ! I even mentioned that fact to him a long time ago, and he never ever corrected me on it...that was back when we had to goto a BMO and deposit the orders costs, only then would he pack and ship it.
If I was wrong, I apologize, if not.. Que sera sera lol
Found it an excellent plinking powder for .223, metered well, consistent velocities. Miss having more.

Just made a purchase, 4 lbs of powder, and 1000 projectiles, even with the steep shipping cost I'm still up about $75.
Pisses me off our club doesn't really have a way to coordinate a group buy short of calling buddy, assuming you have their number, regardless of that I'll be a customer until it costs me more...don't foresee that in the near future.

Most clubs have a very small cadre of people who actually do any real work. They can always use some help.
