High BC .224 bullets on coyotes

Has anybody here used any of the high BC (.300 or better) .224 bullets on coyotes. If so I would like to here your reports and cartridge used.

Really interested in
68gr Hornady BTHP
75gr Hornady A-max
75gr Swift Scirocco II

But would like to here about any of them.

With the exception of the swift bullet, I would think that a 60gr Nosler partition would be the best of the 224 bullets. Sounds like you want to shoot them in the 400 yard range. FS

You know, the amax was never told that is isn't a vmax....223AI pushing the 75 amax at 3100= dead critters.

you may want to try the 70gr Berger VLD, it says on the box its for varmints

I shot a lot of coyotes with the 75 grain Hornady BTHP Match bullet in a 1-10 twist 22/250. Normally there would be a 3/4" exit in a very dead 'yote. Those heavy bullets laugh at wind.

why not use a heavy tsx?

figure the cost between a smk and the tsx and tell me if the yote knows the difference? dead is still dead all for 1/4 the cost
