Thx Roberti11, intresting read, and I think you are not far off on the matrix 190 b.c. as I found it was around .605 for me, but I have found that they are very accurate out to 1000.
Its also great to have have a canadian supplier.

No question about the accuracy, I have used these in 3 matches at 1000 yards, they fly very well and are every bit as good as other 7mm match bullets.
I have not done BC calculations with pointed bullets, but did fire 2, 10 shot groups with identical loads comparing pointed and unpointed Matrix 190gn VLD's. The groups were shot at 300 metres, the mean centre of the pointed group was 0.8 inches higher. I now point all my bullets for matches.

I trim and point too, and I ordered a custom made Hoover die insert specifically for the Matrix 7mm vld's and the owner of the Hoover die told me he really liked the sample of 10 Maitrix bullets I sent him, he said they were one of the best custom bullets he had seen in that caliber. So waiting for my custom hunting 7 mm Dakota to get a new barrel on it so i can test them out to 1000. Cant wait!
