i'm looking for some high cap mags for my 10/22 what size do they come in and at what price am i looking at the higher the cap the better

I've seen 50 rd drums going for $90 ish. I just bought a 25 rd steel lips mag for $35 at Epps. Stay away from anything with plastic lips, you'll just be buying another mag later.

The 50 rd drums and steel lips sometimes work flawlessly and other times are nothing but jammin junk. It's hit or miss.................Harold

I have use the 25 round steel lip mag from Butler Creek in my "Charger",and it works great...
can't say the same about their reloading tool...

I JUST got back form going out to buy a butler creek 25 round mag(steel lips) form my local gun store....lil pricy at $51 but its great. I better be as it was a 33km bike ride there and back, just a lil tiring of a ride:p

hardcore I hope you got more than 1 lol BTW did you pedal to windsor??.

P.S. If you want more I dont mind sending you some from here maybe a little cheaper.

No I petaled to my local gun store which is gobles. but its 16.5km each way all hills and gravel, not fun. and I was gonna buy 2 but I spend the rest of the money on ammo lol. And my bike with a motor is ####....was once good, its a 91" Kawaski KLR 250.

Saw tons of them when I last visited Wholesale Sports a week ago. I dont think they are in short supply yet but the time is coming.......Stock up while you can because once they are gone who knows what the future will bring.

How can I get the plastic lipped butler creek 25 rd clips to feed properly in the 10/22?? Sometimes they'll feed 15 rounds, then jam on the second round every time. Federal American Eagle ammo.

Try another brand of ammo and see if it helps. I used some of those Federal bulk hollow points that are 525 / box and I think 36 or 38 grain. They fed flawlessly. Maybe they cycle the action better. You could also try cleaning your action really well and only oiling or greasing it very lightly. Maybe some buildup is holding it back from snapping that second round out of the magazine.

Thanks grizz. The gun is nearly new, maybe 600 rounds thru. I let the kids at the campsite fool around with it trying to break the mag in, 5 round loads, 10, 15 etc. Went good for one gal for a while, then it wouldn't get ever get the second bullet in staight. I don't know if I could trust these mags in the heat of tactical gophering, like if they gang up and charge me. Love the stock mag.
