Well cat's out of the bag now. Here is the link to the letter the RCMP provided saying that this device is not prohibited incase you want to keep it with the gun.

Looks great. I was wondering if the adapter stays in place when ejecting the magazine and/or how does the magazine eject ? I have read some very mixed reviews about the 597 mag in the 30 round version but like everything there are always mixed reviews I suppose .

Edit : I just read the proper magazine break in instructions in the attachment on their web page. This should clear up the feeding issues although I will not be lightly oiling my ammo. Jeeze.
