High Capacity Mags for the Browning BAR

Now that I've got the BAR Heavy Barrel sorted out I need to find some of these factory Browning High Capacity mags. From Browning International, 6 round capacity in 300 win mag (10 round in 30-06). If anybody has a Euro source for them let me know. The .300 win mag are no longer listed on the Browning website so might be discontinued.

They would need to be pinned to 5 rounds in .300 win mag (probably about 8 rounds in 30-06), and I would imagine there would be feeding and reliability issues.

5 rounds regardless of caliber. And I'm assuming you mean feeding and reliabilty issues after being pinned? I think if they were properly pinned it shouldn't effect reliabilty but that depends on how the mag is constructed.

You used to be able to get them through frankonia jagd in Germany. If they can still get them they can handle export for you.

They MUST be pinned before CBSA will allow them in the country. I'm not sure what the standard capacity mags are but they can't be much less than 5 rounds which makes these bigger mags seem kind of pointless.

Factory is 3 rounds so a 2 round increase is significant...to me.

I don't see Browning mags on their website. I'll have to brush up on my German and email them.

Most Euro gunsellers will do the job for a fee. If FJ doesnt have them anymore, try USRAC direct, they offered this for the Euro market for years.
