High power spotting scope reccomendations?

I have the Bushnell Legend Ultra HD 20-60X80 with the angled eyepiece. Haven't tried it at the range yet, but just playing around when camping it's been great. I tried to take a pic through the eyepiece at full zoom for you, but I couldn't hold the camera steady enough to get a clear picture.

Taken at just after 4:30pm today (not too much light) and the scope was aimed at the far roof:

Now through the scope:

Please excuse my unsteady hands, because you will see clearer than this in person and can actually see the pine needles. :) There is definitely clearer glass out there, but this is one of those models that gives decent value.

If I was doing real long range stuff on a static target, I'd go with the wireless transmitter setup like Jerry (Mystic).

I picked up a Zeiss Dialyt this year and I highly recommend it. Great scope for the money and there isnt a scope built tougher IMO. If you get ahold of Doug at Cameraland you will be able to get a certified pre-owned one for less than a $1000. Thats what I did and mine was in new condition.

I have a Bausch and Lomb Elite 20-45x 60MM and while the glass is super clear and the images crisp, it can be a challenge to see bullet holes past 300 yards, and the field of view shrinks a lot when zoomed in. I have used a Vortex Razer, very nice, and a Kowa, So Very VERY NICE! If I had under $1000 I would go with a new Bushnell 77mm scope, or maybe a 5" reflector from Celestron. If I had $1500 or so, Vortex, and if money were no object I would go with the Kowa. Good or great optics cost big $$.

Let us know if you get to Pelee Wings, and what the results of your quest.
