Great price on those, kind of off though that it comes up in USD for me, I’m in Vancouve

I picked up one of the Speed Performance models this weekend.

I cut down the way to long magazine spring by 25cm.

I then put a 45 degree angle on the trailing edge on back of the second (last) u-notch on the bolt - I did this with a Dremel bit, some fine sandpaper, and then hit it with some cold blue. It now floats an extra shell on the lifter like the original M2 and M1’s (ghost load). With the factory + 2 mag extension for 3” shells, the shotgun holds 6 2 3/4 + 1 in the chamber + 1 floating.

Floating with the short 3” chamber is a bit niggly but I can do it fast now that I know exactly how far to pull back the bolt carrier.

I don’t know why the M2 won’t float a shell from the factory. My VR-66, M4, and M3K all do.

The barrel is a bit long for my needs but it’s workable.

The fiber optic front sight is great, almost like a red dot at dusk. I’ll try the folding sight with some slugs soon.

This is a fantastic shotgun with John Wick 4 styling.
What's your opinion on the VR-66?

I like the VR-66 its like a hot-rodded M2. I've put a Messa tactical stock on it, and Strike forend.

It wont take M2 barrels tho.

I would advise those who run them to check a few things and locktite a few things. For the price it cant be beat.

Im looking at one. If it can take M2 stocks, like the Mesa Urbino, then I'm in. That being said, it's made in Turkey. I'm not anti Turkish firearms, own 2 CANiKs, a Girsan and a Rev Arms Mauler 12g. All have been reliable, except for the Mauler after I changed out the stock.
The price point is great. If the reliability is good, and TNA has good customer service, I'd be 100% down to get one. I'm on the fence. Thanks for the reply.
