High Standard 107 Citation Problem

I have a High Standard Citation problem.
When I shoot the gun the trigger does not reset you have to move the trigger forward then squeeze it to fire.
There must be something unhooked or broken. Should it involve a gunsmith?
Anyone ever had that problem?

May require a gunsmith - depends on how handy you are with taking it apart and checking it over. It's possible that there's some dirt/crap jamming it up, but I would be more inclined to think its a broken/missing spring.

There is a tiny U shaped spring, I think it is called the sear bar spring. It is under the retaining plate and under the safety lever and fits in a pocket on the frame. It provides pressure to the sear bar connected to the trigger.
