High Standard AR-15?

Entry level is just that...basic minimum acceptable standard for a AR. It's above the budget/low end stuff like Norinco and NEA. Upper/lower/bcg and barrel with be the standard mass produced variety that are shared among other makers. Everything will be in spec and upgradeable. Trigger will be mediocre.
Personally I don't like the 16" carbine gas rifles, and would go mid length. IRUNGUNS has a nice middy PSA with stainless barrel for $699 that it a pretty decent deal.

Yes. That looks like exactly what I'm talking about. That looks like exactly what I want--nothing fancy, just a good, solid performer to build upon.
Thx for the link. I'm looking into it further.
Re barrel length: Ja, I prefer the longer ones. HS shows a 20" bull barrel in their catalogue, as well as a 24" 'sniper' variant!
I'm going to try to keep this thread current, so stick around (I may have to change the title from HS to something else!).
