high standard pistol

went to a local store and found that they had a high standard, sport king model 14. It is in poor condition no blueing but not rusty very dirty but seems functional. They said the greencard reg cert was form 1957.
Are these any good, anyone have any experience with them? The store is asking $250 for it,

They're great pistols.

Feeding is dependent on good and tuned magazines, and good magazines may be hard to come by.

The price is very reasonable, if the bore looks alright, and if it feeds well (with the magazine(s) available).
