I have a VICTOR with serial no. ML517XX. E. Hartford. Anyone know when it was made?

ML Series pistols were manufactured from 1977-1981 for those made in E. Hartford.

Tom Dance, on page 165 "Appendix A" of HIGH STANDARD A Collector's Guide to the Hamden & Hartford Target Pistols lists starting serial number & volume by year.

1979 - ML45000 - 12k
1980 - ML57000 - 17k

That might suggest 1979.
