I bought one of those fine High Standard Citation .22 target pistols that Tradex has on sale. I've read that it would be a good idea to replace the springs in this model to ensure it operates like new.
Heck, I don't even have it in my hands yet, but found from some forums that InterarmsTX would be a good source. Well, that $15 US pack of springs would cost $60.75 to ship, bringing to total to $75.75 USD. Gulp!!

I emailed Alan at Interarmstx about the high cost of shipping, and this is his reply;

We ARE REQUIRED to get an AES License to ship to Canada.That is a 25.00 USD service fee. The USPS Priority Mail to Canada is 35.75 USD.
We ship to Canada every week. Most of our customers order for their future needs of replacement parts and magazines.
We can ship up to 500.00 USD ( not counting fees) in one shipment to Canada.Thanks for your inquiry.- Alan

So the easiest way to get these would be to have them shipped to my Washington state address, but then there's this whole closed border thing going on.

Oh well, wait until Covid is over, the border is open again, and have a nice drive down to Oroville.

Sigh..........

Well if you want the real Hi Standard original springs, I have some.
But I don't live in the US.
Just been listening to the turd and his flunkies this morning so a bit pissed.
PM me.

WOLF Springs in the US has an export licence & they ship to us. You must spend a minimum of U$20.00 so buy a couple of springs for your HS & perhaps some recoil springs for your other guns. Perhaps canvass your pals & put together a larger order encompassing their spring requirements & spread out the overall costs.....

Thanks for the info. Marshall was able to hook me up with the springs I was looking for (thumbs up).
Pistol itself came yesterday. Great shape and now thoroughly cleaned and ready to go shooting. It's funny though that the letter from the Mounties with the registration paperwork actually showed up a day before the pistol did.
