Just got this,...it has not been shot in a would say 15-20 years? It needs a good cleaning,.but the trigger would not reset,...at first I thought it was broke,..but after I rack it a few times and brushed some rust off the overtravel screw, the hammer dropped /released. I would say I have not felt this light of a trigger on a handgun. Pretty shocking. I can just barely touch it,..and start to think about pressing the trigger and it breaks:eek:

My coworkers grandfather owned it,.and his gun case was full of cloth badges for awards from shoots. I think some were NRA,...etc....
got 400rds and two mags. $150,..which I think is a sweet deal.

Have one with Herett target grips and two different barrel setups. Certainly fine guns and right up there with my Smith model 41 for accuracy.

At $150.00 that's a deal.

Post a pic and I'll get one of mine for some Hi Standard comparrison.

.

A too light of trigger pull is just as bad as a too heavy trigger, for accurate, bullseye, type shooting.

mine has gone FA in the past when someone messed with that screw. IIRC it is easy to adjust... I think it was that screw anyways

My Grandad gave that gun to my dad and now it is mine...Seen countless rounds and still is amazingly accurate.

Well,...cleaned is up a bit. DId not get into the firing pin channel. THe recoil spring feels extremely light. The hammer spring I did not get at. I cleaned the extractor, ejector and the channels around the breach,etc...etc.. I had to use lots of break free. The worst was around the muzzle,..all around it at the edges it had a build up of a cement like residue. I actually was using a dental pick and small screwdriver to get it off,.as the Break free (I used lots) was not taking it off. I had the grips off etc....
Dirtiest gun I have ever had. I may try and sneak off tonight to the local indoor range and see how it works. BTW, some of the ammo was DND marked,..one case was not opened; still sealed. Other ammo looked pockmarked,...looks bad, and I don't think I will be using that.

I used to shoot DND ammo was I was like ,..11-12 years old (that is about 24 years ago) in target rifle at the old armories in Truro, NS.

Shot it indoors last night. Other shooters tried it and I got some offers for it. Trigger was reported to be well under 2lbs....ONly had one FTF from a round that was not formed properly.
this is a keeper, shot really good groups for everyone.

My 107 Trophy seems to have a weak recoil spring. If you figure out how to get the recoil spring out let me know. I bought the Wolf spring replacement kit but cannot understand how that recoil spring comes out.

yep,..i see the recoil spring in slide,..Mine is very light.

the spring in the grip or hammer spring gives pressure to the hammer to move.
