High Standard Trophy

I just came across a very nice High Standard Supermatic Trophy w/ 2 magazines. I don't know beans about them. What is your experience and/or opinions about them. Value?? Thanks in advance for any input. kjohn

Great target pistols with excellent triggers, the magazines must be tuned for optimum reliability. Information on tuning the magazines is found on the Hi-Standard website. Parts and magazines are available from Brownells.

You won't regret it.

I have a Supermatic Citation and a Field King, older models. Better trigger pull than most semi .22's and at least as accurate as my S&W 41. Good weight and balance IMO. Never had a problem after shooting 1000's of rounds.

I have two high std. military trophy's, they shoot like a dream. All parts are still original.
Had them for forty years and they do hold there value.

Funny thing about Hi Standard. People thought they were putting on airs when they brought out their Gold Medal Match model.

They didn`t bring it out until AFTER they had already WON the Olympic gold medal.

Good, solid, reliable, accurate, go forever.

Nice pistols... as long as

- the magazines are properly adjusted
- The frame isn't cracked under the right grip panel.
